“The secret of its natural beauty lies in the fact that its two corners are slightly different, exactly as human lips would be”.
Bocca was created to satisfy the request of a private client, but then went on to conquer all the covers of dedicated magazines. She is inspired by the Portrait of Mae West painted in 1935 by Dali, as well as by the warm lips of Hollywood stars. Pop DNA, uniquely created for the first time in 1970 by Gufram.
In this version it takes on a rock, gothic, dark style, with the oversized piercing accessory on the left (rimovibile). Rebellious, in glossy black colour, this edition dates back to 2008 to make the design piece more transgressive.
Very strong vital charge, a domestic sculpture that inhabits both private and public spaces, maintaining the same ease: Bocca is exhibited in very large and important museums such as MAK in Vienna or the Design Museum in Munich and becomes part of an imaginary collective like that pop by Andy Warhol.
