TCI Dali Casambi Interface is able to convert the CASAMBI WIRELESS signal into DALI signals (up to 4 independent channels) and 1-10V (I=10mA).

The interface powers the DALI bus, up to 40 devices (up to 64 with additional DALI power supply).

Through the CASAMBI APP it is possible to configure and control the DALI network. Suitable for DALI DT6 – DT8 (TW – RGB) devices. IP20 independent interface, for indoor use (DALI CASAMBI). Can be used for lighting fixtures in protection class I and II ( DALI CASAMBI BI). Opposing input and output terminals (cable section up to 0.5 – 1.5 mm2 / AWG20 – AWG15).

Available with terminal covers and without terminal covers.

• input against mains impulsive overvoltages;
• short circuit and open circuit;
• temperature.
• Thermal protection = C.5.e.

The system itself in constant consensus-based synchronization. 1.2 Connected Casambi devices connect when needed. An Internet connection is not required for general operation and ordinary functionality. Bluetooth Low Energy technology already implemented in smartphones and tablets, therefore possible to establish connections without additional gateways. The connection speed between a smart device and Casambi devices is quick and uninterrupted, just open the App to start the connection to the system.

Intuitive

This intuitive system: at the first connection the nodes are associated automatically and can be used and customized by anyone, without the need to involve experts for commissioning.

Bluetooth Low Energy, also known as Bluetooth 4.0+, Bluetooth Smart or simply BLE, was originally designed by Nokia as Wibree and was adopted by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) and released in 2010. The low energy feature of BLE allows developers to build products powered by small button batteries or energy storage devices, making BLE the best protocol to use in wireless lighting control applications.
